WHISKY ADVOCATE - CHARTER OAK
Editorial shoots are some of my favorites, usually with a varied shot list and always a story to tell. They can be tight on time. In this case I had 3.5 hours, including setup, mini scout, and wrap, to complete this shoot at the renowned Charter Oak in St. Helena, California. The goals - various portraits, three food beauties with cocktail pairings, food prep and cocktail prep. In the end, it ended up being four lighting setups in a few areas of the restaurant plus some outdoor portrait options as well. Luckily Chef Christopher Kostow and the Charter Oak team were incredibly gracious to work with and made my job as easy as possible.
